Membership Fees

The membership fee is paid once a month and ensures the validity of the insurance, unemployment insurance and other member benefits that are part of the membership.

Honorary members and those performing conscription or civilian service are exempt from the membership fee.

Employed or on unemployment benefits

Membership fee: 34 €/month

You will pay this membership fee if you are:

  • in paid employment
  • With the benefit of the OTE fund or other unemployment fund

Membership of the Unemployment Fund does not increase the price of the membership fee. The fee is the same for those who belong to the treasury and those who do not belong to the treasury.

Part-time employee

Membership fee: 24 €/month

You can apply for a reduced membership fee if:

Did you know that as a member of Skilla you also belong to the Erko and Akava Special Sectors in the unemployment fund

As an employee member of Akava Special Areas, your unemployment benefit has been provided through Erko in the Special Trained Unemployment Fund. You can receive earnings-linked unemployment allowance, mobility allowance and shift allowance. The membership fee of the treasury is included in the membership fee of the union.

Skilla members belong to the trade union Akava Special Industries (AE). Akava Special Areas is responsible for providing legal advice to members and other membership matters, such as membership fees and updates to membership information. Akava Special Industries also offers trainings and career services as well as other member benefits.

By joining us, you are involved in supporting elderly work and nature conservation in Finland. Akava Special Industries donates a euro for each new member to charity. The amount accumulated during the year will be divided equally between Helsinki Mission and the Finnish Union for Conservation of Nature.
